I'm not looking to buy now but may want to in the future. Has anyone seen a stainless Blackhawk convertible in 357/9 in Canada? I've only seen the blued version on store websites and the EE. If I get a convertible in 357/9, I'll probably want it in stainless.

So, just curious if anyone has seen some up here. Thanks.

Not sure how many stainless compared to blue are out there but both are less common then the non convertible models.

Prophet River seems to bring in nice Ruger's and can probably bring one in for you. Maybe give them a call and see what the options and timelines are?

I have the blued version. It is what it is but I wouldn't recommend buying it. The point of impact in 9mm vs. .38 Special vs. .357 Mag is one issue. The sights, at least for me, are not great. Rear sight is too wide and there is a lot of room to move the front sight around and still be in the slot. But I have kind of moved away from Rugers, mainly due to these rear sights.

Thanks. I was thinking they'd be a good option as well.

Is this something about the New Model Blackhawk in particular or the Ruger revolvers in general? I've tried a few Ruger revolvers but not a New Model Blackhawk, and I found the stock sights to be similar and interchangeable in some cases. I think I see what you mean about the rear sight being too wide but it doesn't bother me. I love the thick slab of steel steak of a Ruger revolver.
