Good news! Butler Creek 10/22 Mags are back in stock!

Bad news! They're pinned to 10 as per new RCMP Bulletin #72.

That is just f#%€ing ridiculous. I think we are witnessing the start of the end....

RCMP bulletins never list the full list of instances to which a particular piece of legislation applies (for example, the same bulletin mentions LAR15 mags, but not Just Right Carbines). However, because the Butler Creek mags WILL fit the Charger hand gun, we are positioning ourselves in such a way that our products are not left up to various interpretations of enforcement officers, because at the end of the day, we do not want to make a guinea pig for a new set of laws out of our customers.

Basically they don't know the laws, so they are doing it because don't want to get into the interpretations of the law. So screwing customer over because clearly they don't know the difference between BX 25/50 and BC 25.

The bulletin refers to the Ruger BX-25 mag that was "Designed" for use in the charger pistol as well as the rifles. The Butler Creek mag is designed only for the rifles so they are good to go for 25 rounds.

So drop the drill and pop rivet boys, The store is ####ed. I talked to another local store and nothing came down to pull the mags, nor pin them.

seems like the Mossberg 715t all over again, blame ruger and Mossberg, they both know Canadian law and never should have let the pistols be available in Canada, ruger now on my boycott list.....10/22's on EE coming up

Nope just a stupid shop, that doesn't know the laws.

Our laws are so completely ridiculous and arbitrary, who here can say they actually DO know them? We're all locked in the same legal asylum here; no point singling out something that makes no sense, when none of it does

and a very good point made by CoonT, none of us know the laws, including the rcmp the police etc. they are written in 50 shades of grey to be determined by our legal system

Those smack-tards drilled unnecessary holes in their product that now no one will want? Eat the loss fools, EAT IT. lol
