Ruger BX1 Magazine - Life Expectancy

Does anyone know the usual life expectancy of a Ruger BX1 magazine? I'm at about 7000 rounds. Pre-COVID19, I had no problems with it but in the last month when I returned to shooting, I noticed it would jam on the 2nd round if I loaded 10 rounds vs. if I loaded 5 rounds it was ok. Is this just a sign that the spring is dying and I need a new one?

Today was worse -- as I shot about 100 rounds, the loading suddenly got worse regardless of how many rounds were in. Wouldn't load a new round at all when I pulled my bolt back on my Ruger RPR.

Thanks!

It does not need to be disassembled... just spray in a good dose of WD-40 swish it around and let drain out over night propped upside down.... wipe down the feed lips good with a clean cotton rag... good to go. I have been using those mags for more than four decades and have some that are that old.
