Thinking of buying one. The whole idea of a rimfire pistol that will take my 25 and 50 round 10/22 mags appeals to me. Anyone own one? What sort of groups does it shoot? Optic recommendations? Good value for the $345 price tag? Having owned several 10/22s I'm not questioning its reliability.

I dont really get why this is considered a pistol .. most I have seen comes with a bipod so its pretty much a regular 10/22 with a very short barrel and no stock.

I think you need to have pretty strong arms to hold it in one hand like you would with a regular pistol and sqeeze off 10 rounds and keep on target.

I've had 2 and still own 1.
Yes... there heavy to free hand but a lot of fun!! There definitely not recommended for a limp wristed shooter thats for sure. :D

Hmmm....one of my 10/22's has the Butler Creek folding stock similar to the one pictured above. The barrel of the full size 10/22 is only about 6 inches longer than the Charger. So with the stock folded on my 10/22 it's essentially a Charger with a slightly longer barrel.....and its non-res. I thought the Charger was a little smaller. Hmmmm....picking one up is still tempting. I'll have to go to a gun store and hold one.
Thanks, Wham-o, for the pics for comparison. Both your .22's look nice.
