Ruger compact barrel fit ??

Hello!

Im building a 1022 and was wondering if a compact 16" barrel fits into a hogue standard barrel om stock or any other adult stock ?

I want to build a short hunting/plinking 1022

I already upgraded the trigger and charging handle w springs. Any other upgrade worth doing apart polishing receiver (done) and auto release (done)?

Yes barrel contour is the same

Its always nice to get another answer, my compact action/barrel is installed in a different factory 10/22 stock and it was in a tapco sporter barrel stock too.
