hey gents, my ruger hawkeye wood is split between the trigger well and the mag well, hairline but when ya put pressure to open it, it does.
does this effect the accuracy?
i pulled it out of this stock for that reason a few years ago, but not the nifty jack of all, master of none in me, wants to fix it... i want a wood stock again lol.... even tho the Whelen is doing nooothing.
There isnt a heap of room between the two but i assume i need to put some kind of screw thru it or drill atleast.... to anchor it back together? or How would you go about it?
i will post up a photo later for thosee who arnt sure of where i am talking about..
looks about where "magnum crossbolts" would go, so am i basically, making those?
Thanks
