It was a wet, dark, damp and dreary Ruger Cup this year at Addieville East in R.I. Today, SUnday, I shot some of the best sporting targets ever! Even if they were sometimes hard to see due to the rain and fog, they were very enjoyable.

Teenager, Kristin Canale, a Connecticut Traveller member, outshot the big boys on the Prelim course yeterday with her HOA 95! While she did shoot in the afternoon after the rains, it is still an amazing feet.

Have a great week,

...merci Henri....

...did you see any indications of Fitasc referees enforcing the 28 gram (one ounce) ammunition rule during the parcours competition?....american shooters are known to "bend" quite a lot on this one...and did you personally notice any other competitors using heavier, illegal loads???........

;)Ron Adams from Vermont was the head referee. He has qualified for the World FITASC as well as one other ref from the area who was reffing. Of the FITAC refs only two were only somewhat experienced but knew the rules. All peaked at th ammo being used. There were only a very few novice Parcours de Chasse shooters. They were introduced to the rules, had the line marked (sometimes on the rain suit) or used a pocket line in some cases, were warned and noted when moving when no target was seen and also deducted targets after the first malfunction or a shooter error. They were quite good compared to some others that I have experienced.

Last year at the Spring Deuce 3 Americans were caught at the first peg of their first Parcours. They quickly found 1 Oz shells!

Best regards,
Henry;)
