Ruger grip Mod?

it probably won't be cost effective to have a 'smith do it. it will also take 6 months to have it done, if toronto 'smiths are backed up like albertas!

sell it and buy a 22/45RP.
 
i'm guessing he's found the guy that makes glue on panels that fit over the existing molded in panels. they are also secured two screws per side if memory serves me. there was a vid on youtube.

you mean Dom? i did find some info on him but didn't like the grips i saw.

Actually i am going to hollow out the back of the 1911 grips so they fit over top of the existing grips.then i just have to make sure the grip panels clear the mag release, etc... and then i can use silicone or something similar to hold them on tight.
