You can call and they'll approve them on the spot (or at least some of them, capped me at 3 last time I called and told me to call back tomorrow for the rest.)

Call the normal 1-800 number and then extension 9530. And then pray that you don't get disconnected after 32 minutes on hold.

Savage does not list a model 25 in 5.7X28 caliber that I can find.

That is possible; they may have at one time.
