Ruger levers anybody have one??

Hey guys how come Ruger does not make any levers more?? I remember them makin a 44 mag and they still make a rifle in 44 mag..Maybe I should get a marlin in 45 colt...

I have one of the 96-44's. Action is as smooth as silk, shoots about 1.5" at 100 yards. The rifle is much nicer than I expected it to be. I did refinish the stock, with a walnut aniline dye and an oil finish.

I'd hazard a guess its due to production costs vs what they could sell it for. Similar to the Savage 99

How about a #3 ruger in .44 mag?

It's a single shot rifle, but it sure is accurite with the right bullet & powder combo. Like they say, it only takes 1 shot...
They don't make these anymore either, but wish they would bring them back into production....

I have one..Nice handy little rifle..The only issues I have ever had with it, was magazine springs crapping out.
