Ruger M77 338 value

I have witnessed game being hit and lost with a partition right through... I am sure the animal died but it was never found. Partitions are an over rated bullet in my humble opinion.
If the Partition didn't kill it, it wasn't hit in the right spot... period.

but thats always the default when things go wrong, must be the equipments fault

": .......I need some help in valueing a Ruger m77 338 Winchester Mag...tang safety...1985 according to serial number...bedded Bell and Carlson synthetic stock, Baush & lomb 4×12 scope........"
B&C had a few stocks of various quality, B&L is $300 maybe but doesn;t add much in a package price
Wood&Blued can be a tough sell unless the wood is high grade, wood&tupperware.......
I'd say start at $800

edit- rifle/scope
missed the ammo and reloading gear, which may help a sale

You can always come down in price if you need to.
