Good evening all...
I have a friend who was given a old model m77 in a 338 win mag. I looked up the serial number and the year it was built was 1988.

The stock is on horrible shape and he is wanting to replace it. I guess he is looking for something in the lines of a B&C stock. Everything i see for aftermarket is geared towards the MKII. Is there anything out there for the M77?

B&C used to, I sold one a couple of years ago. Might have to look to used. Maybe stateside, more selection. - dan

I purchased a new Ruger M77 stock from a store in Que a few years ago. Sorry but I forget the name, they were listed as the Ruger warrenty center for Canada or something like that. I have also ordered Ruger parts from Gravel Agency in Que.
