Ruger M77 Hawkeye Laminated Compact?

Anyone have one? What are they like?

I want a short barrel bolt action and at 16.5" this is the shortest I can find. Not a fan of the laminated stock but I could live with it.

i have one in 308. ausome shooter. suprizingly the velocity lose is not as great as you would imagine. handles really well too. mine shoots 165's extremly well.

My wife has one in 308, great little rifle. I steal it some days when I don't feel like hauling my 338 around.

Reminds me of the Frontier, great rifles! Velocity loss is minimal, accuracy is phenom!
