Yah i seen where they were made. I bought it from the guy to makes them.. Or assembles them lol.
I ordered a vx-2 , which I wanted todo anyway because i needed more eye relief on my model 70. So im going to put the vortex on the ruger give it a good cleaning and take her to the range.

Ive used regular winchester ammo , and remmington core-locts. Im going to buy a box of federal ammo also to try. All 180gr.

Yah ive heard that before, I own two of them. One cheaper one on a 30-30 crack barrel that has been working fine asside from the crappy quality of glass, and this higher-end one that is on my ruger, the glass seems good in it but im thinking it is the problem for the guns poor accuracy. I might take it back and see what nick says about it when I say its crap. And no I didnt buy either, my father bought them a few years ago, but I know he didn't pay near what the msrp is.
