Ruger M77 Information Please

Hello everyone,

I have an older Ruger M77 chambered in the 220 Swift. It was one of those Ruger 220 Swift/Redfield scope combos purchased a few year back.

Anyways my question is this: Will this Long Action Ruger M77 fit into a Long Action Ruger M77 'MARK2' stock?

If the safety isn't in the same place I.E. tang safety vs. right sided wing safety, I would think there would be some fitting problems. I am waiting to find out too, I think the answer would be no.
