Did the new RH floorplate work with the original follower that doesnt work with the other floorplate?
Try the RH floorplate with both followers.
Try the LH floorplate with the RH's follower.

Figure out exactly which part is the problem, and compare it to the working version. Maybe its a simple fix.

Snapshots can get you a new floorplate assembly... glad the fix is that simple... the hard part is narrowing the problem down.
 
Snapshots emailed today, floorplate arrived to QC. After CP is done striking I might have a functional firearm! whoooo
 
Still only holds two down. Albeit a smidge better than before. Will send to gunsmith once my McMillan stock arrives for bedding/tweakin'
 
Snapshots only sent me a plate. I would of preferred a complete replacement of the front hinge, plate, spring, follower, trigger guard...new rifle...lol
 
slapped on the new McMillan and she holds 3 down, albiet the bolt slides snuggly over the top round
