Ruger M77 question/valuation

Howdy folks,
Does anyone out there have an idea of what the following is worth?

Ruger stainless M77 Mark II in .308w. It has a matching, mounted Bushnell Elite 3200 3X9 scope. It is right handed. The original owner has fired a total of 15 rounds thru it. I have the 2 original boxes of ammo bought with the rifle. 12 fired from one, 3 from the other. It has an original amber colored laminate stock. I would guess it is 9-10. Will be selling it as a package.

It was a gift so I have no idea what it is worth. I have my Axis .308 already.

Anyone wanna guess the value?

Valuation is only a guess, affected by quite a few things. Supply and demand is important and with supply, a lot of buyers out there are equating any 77 Ruger with what they can buy the cheapest Ruger now being made for. A lot of buyers think a new rifle takes priority over any used one and a used one should sell well below the price of a new one.
For that reason, older quality built 77s are selling for the price of new crap.
I will guess your rifle will sell for about 650,allowing 200 for the scope and 450 for the rifle, or callit 150 and 500, if you wish.
 
"IF" the rifle and scope are in excellent plus condition, the values are; Rifle - $650 Scope - $175 (shipped)... $800 as a package (shipped)... good pictures would help.

The "amber coloured" laminated stock could be an aftermarket which lowers the overall value, or it could indicate an earlier "Predator" style rifle (+$50 for the gun).
 
I would say the scope would be worth $125-$150 in excellent shape. Rifle should go for $600-$650. Definitely would sell for more than $450 IMO.
 
There was a similar setup on consignment locally. Same bushnell, grey laminate / stainless , but in 7mm-08. It sat for a couple months @ $695.
 
Wait, you're going to keep an Axis and get rid of a Ruger M77 MkII....? Did I read that right? Are you feeling ok OP?
 
Yes... keep the ruger... now...

As a serious buyer, I am picky on optics and do not like bushnell.... some do and recognize their better series and that is cool.....

My advice, take the scope out of the rings.... get 150 for it and ask 550 firm for rifle with rings....

Sell the cheepo Axel and yer buy far moolah ah-head.

If'n I gave my buddie a Ruger and he add an Axel and sold the Ruger I
dun gifted him, he'd mawr'n likely git a :kickInTheNuts: for bee in an
insensatiff dork.

Show sum class there laddie.
