Looking to change stock on an older M77 tang safety.
What synthetic stock options do I have?
Will any of the MK I or Mk II fit ?
Don’t know much about Rugers.

There is no such thing as a MKI, that is what some people call the "M77 tang safety" rifles... the Mark II and Hawkeye stocks will not fit. There are some synthetic options, or you can paint out a M77 walnut stock with textured spray bomb... you can also buy laminate stocks direct from Boyd's.

Mcmillans are nice but pricey. Have you considered stripping the old stock and refinishing in oil? Some older Ruger M77 stocks turn out quite good.

I have used the Wildcat stocks for the Ruger and they are a good stock though a bit bulky, to me. The factory stock can probably be repaired to be as good as new if it has not been messed with. It comes down to what you want to accomplish.
