I have an opportunity to pick one of these up in 7mm rem mag. Blued, wood stock. Not sure on age but the round count is low. This would be me sole hunting rig. Would this serve me well for $350? Thanks.
The condition seems alright. It was packed alot but fired rarely. Bluing is rough in a couple spots but the bore looks great. Stock has a few dings but its going to be carried through the woods.....

Bluing is an easy recovery with a cold blue kit....... As for the stock, either appreciate the dings or refinish it........ Either way, you have a kickass hunting rifle under 500 bucks.......
So much better than the budget options of today.......
My main big game rifle these days is an early Ruger M77 African in 300 WM (before they put the silly muzzle break on them)
It was reasonably accurate new, but after I had it pillar bedded it's now a tack driver.
Grab it! I own three,243,.270 and 30-06. Every one of them shoot 1 MOA at 200M off a bench with Bushnell Trophy II 3X9X40mm. and I've never had them tweeked.
