Ruger M77

I like my m77 nice and smooth to cycle feeds the 375 ruger like butter.
I find the safety easy to use

My first 77 was a tangsafety in .300 Win Mag [another one that I let get away]. Great rifle!

Second was a MkII in 6.5x55mm.... sadly another one that got away!

Still own a tangsafety in 7x57mm.... she's got 'keeper' status. And a MkII stainless in 7.62x39mm [I ditched the boat paddle stock for a newer synthetic from a Hawkeye, but am in the process of putting her into a Boyd's pepper laminate].

Also have a Ruger #1 in .243 Win [but that's a horse of a different color...lol...].

On the OP's original question.... personally, I like 'em both.... tangsafety & MkII...... there ya go!

When they first came out I hated them... really thought they where stupid looking and would be nasty to shoot. Years later I got one on a deal in a 338win and it turned out I loved it.

I really like the Canoe Paddle stocks too, and I think they look cool!
