Ruger Mark II and Mark III .22 Pistols - Well-Made Or Cheap Junk?

I have a question regarding aftermarket grips. The set that I want, I've found online and the ad states they're for a Ruger MK II. But I have a MK III. Are the grips interchangeable between MKs? The look identical.....

I bought a well used mkll 6 7/8 target on the EE here last winter, it's 1987 manufacture with God alone knows how many rounds through it. Simple, accurate, slick working pistol.
I've never had problems with reassembly, there are a few simple tricks you need to know. Mine comes apart with a bump from the palm of my hand, bolt stop comes out with a slight twist and pull motion.
Great gun, I'd buy another one tomorrow.

My Mark 2 is my #1 pistol as far as accuracy goes, but it's a total beatch to reassemble no doubt about that, at least if like me you wait long enough between cleanings to forget the necessary tricks. In fact, I've never really looked at a Mark 3 because I'm told they're even worse to deal with. My real problem with the whole line though is that they don't operate like standard semiautos, rather, by using bizarre controls and a totally different mag release, and so my Mk 2 messes up my muscle memory if I use it too much. Just totally fun to shoot though, and it always makes me look good when the targets are examined.
