Ruger Mark III Hunter/Best Ammo to shoot

What ammo is the best for Ruger Mark III Hunter ?
Please give me your opinion . I just going to get this gun and don't
familiar with .22lr ammo.

i have the mk3 22/45 which i think has the exact same action but a different grip angle
i shoot federal 525 bulk packs with no problems

now im trying the winchester 555 next

I shoot the win 333's with out a single issue with my hunter. And at 20m I can make less than a 1 inch 10 shot group off a rest.

A rule of thumb is to use high energy 22s in semis. You can find this info on the pack. If not multiply velocity and projectile weight and youll get the momnum

I've got a MKIII 22/45 and have shot just about bulk/cheapo type ammo through it with no problems at all. Also gone through LOTS of Stinger as well as other hyper velocity rounds with narry a hiccup. (sigh....) gotta go hug my 22/45..........later.

Either Winchester 333 or Winchester Target "in the black 500 rd. box", seem to work the best in most my .22 rifles and handguns. One of the cheapest ammo, too.

Mine cycles anything without complaining. However, I shoot a lot, making price a factor. Winchester 333 is the cheapest stuff available around here, so that's what I use. The gun/ammo combo is more accurate than I am so there's not much point in buying higher grade ammo.

I treat myself to mini mags but for bulk I like blazers ...will eat anything tho, Awesome .22 ...not that easy the first time to take apart..watch some videos on u tube, the instructions are useless.
