Hi everyone,
I just picked up a used Ruger Mark III Target with the 6.8" slab sided barrel and am very pleased with it's capabilities. So much so that I am afraid to shoot some of my other pistols now, as it will be a humbling experience in comparison.
Anyway, I'm wondering what folks' thoughts are on upgrades. The magazine disconnect delete seems like something that would make life easier, but wonder what people think about the loaded chamber indicator delete or other mods. What mag loader do you like the best?
I know Volquartsen and Tandemkross make a bunch of parts, but I'm interested to hear what the CGN hive mind recommends. Bonus points if you name a Canadian dealer/site sponsor who carries them.
I also have a TRUGLO fibre optic front sight on mine, which I like, but would like to change the current green light pipe to red. Anyone know a good, cheap source for 0.06"/1.5mm fibre optic rods? I only need an inch or so, and don't really want to order several feet and pay more for shipping than the product itself.
Thanks for looking!
