Ruger Mark III "tune-up"

Hi All,

I'm posting for a friend who has purchased a Ruger Mark III for a VERY good price, but wants to do some upgrades. For example, Volquartsen makes triggers and other bits for the pistol.

Has anyone done a Mark III upgrade? What did you do? Where did you get the parts??

I bought the VQ sear and the Clark bushing, installed them myself (after much swearing - my own fault mostly, use the VQ videos!). My trigger is *much* better.

I bought the VQ sear from rimfiresports.com .. search Rimfire Central for info on the Clark bushing.

i agree with the above poster, just adding the volq sear made a huge difference in my ruger. if he is on a budgut that single piece is worth it. also two thumbs up to rimfiresports .com - hey free shipping to Canada.

I always do the VQ extractor.
My last one I did the VQ sear & hammer.
I removed the mag-safety (replaced with a similar width washer).

WAAAY better!
