This is an im bored for my amusement type thread but actually a serious question. Has anyone actually paid 4000 dollars on ee for one of these offerings? I bought one two years ago for just shy of 1200 on ee. Couldn't believe what I was reading today. Then I got around to looking and everyone seems to want your first born. Talk about gouging. Mines not for sale so no pms haha.

Not sure about the EE but the first ones in country were sold at a charity auction for a pretty penny, supporting a good cause too of course but those are the only ones I know for sure that sold for big money.

No, $4000 is ridiculous.

I'm sure they are excellently built rifles, all the reviews are positive. But it's no different than the Type-81 rifles that sold for under $1000 and then were offered for $2500 until the next shipment showed up.

Trudeau wants to ban ALL guns, even lever actions but that's not going to happen this year. Wait until the supply chain get's better and buy one then. Or buy an older Marlin that doesn't have a gold plated price tag.

There is one for sure on ee for 4k right now and a few were on gun post. I agree they are nice but are worth the sticker price only. Nothing fancy or WOW just a good tool.

Check out the Big Horn Armory units if ye want uber sticker shock. Well made guns through a good dealer, but Oy Vey! :sok2

I think I barely paid a grand for my “Remlin” GBL. It was a bit rough, but nothing that couldn’t be sorted with a bit of lapping compound and a dremel. Now it’s my go to mountain rifle, and with the Leverevolution stuff from Hornady it’s a 200 meter rifle all day long.

I paid $1,000 taxes in for my first JM stamped stainless sbl 45/70.$4000 is nutz but you know some will pay it.i don't waste money so those expensive gotta haves get a pass from me.lol

I don't think anyone get that?? except from a sucker. I just got mine for $1699, but waited 7 months. They are currently getting stocked but flying off the shelves. Depends how bad a guy wants one. Used Marlins that were $450-$800 max. 4 years ago are getting $2500 now....I bet I could sell my brand new 45-70 for 2k tomorrow but it is such a beautiful gun & a improvement on any Marlin I have owned, I just want to keep it.:HFU:

Nice rifles sure like mine. ;)

Said it before and I’ll say it again. Was the first on the list to order in Canada… personally I would have paid up to $2500 to get one but yet I wouldn’t sell mine for less than the 3500-4K as others have asked.

It’s not leaving and is my main Predator gun, Ruger got this right!
