Ruger Marlin 45/70

Hmmm, I'm off $$ in what my co-worker claimed he paid.
Going to question him this morning and see whats up in the price discrepancy from Ontario and BC.
Congrats to those who bought and received their orders.
Rob

It gets better….

So here we are about 8 days later after I placed my order and I phoned customer service to see if things are moving towards the Barrie store pickup location. I chatted with the kind lady and turns out I qualified for a military discount of 5%.

:dancingbanana:

So it works out to about $100 ish give or take off the total price!

Yesterday afternoon was 28 Sep 22, and my SBL left the warehouse in Calgary and it’s making it’s way across the country. That was according to her computer screen.

All good fun!!

Will keep you all posted!!

Cbeers,
Barney

My JM guide is the factory ported version offered between 1998-2002. At the time I paid $600, then put abouttt?? $250 into a action/trigger job and lighter loading gate spring. Lived in Powell river at the time, a place covered in Black Bears and Cats. Thought.....guess I'm stuck with it, not that I mind, but now apparently there as valuable as a left nut.

It’s here and not a sharp edge anywhere. I was under the impression the Remlington or Marlington sharp edges were a rite of passage. :nest:

No need to slick this baby up while watching re-runs of Sergio Leone’s, “The Good, the bad , and the Fugly.”

Now to get cleaning that factory barrel in preparation for barrel burnish with some handloads at the range tomorrow.

Peace Be The Journey!

Cheers, Barney
