I guess the first question would be, what are you hunting? For coyotes and other vermin, it would be hard to beat a good 55 grain soft point. I personally use 69 grain bthp match bullets to shoot coyotes with my mini and they work well. If you are hunting deer with it, then the heaviest controlled expansion bullet that your gun will stabilize is probably prudent.
