Ruger Mini 14 older model

Well I've decided to keep the rifle. It's not a tack driver but I only want it for a fun gun anyway. I love the way it handles and shoots. Figured that rather than trying to mount a scope on it ( for now anyway ) I'd rather just replace the front sight. So does anyone know where I can get a replacement front site for this early model here in Canada?? I'd rather not have to go the US route if I don't have to.
 
I had one of those, the only way I could hit the side of the barn was to go inside and close the door.
