ruger mini 30, 7.62x39

i know that the mini 30 is .308 bore dia but has anybody
shot some norinco surplus ammo in the mini 30??????
just curious as to what happened, acuracy????

A friend of mine has a mini 30, we have shot many rounds of surplus 7.62 x 39 with it, as for accuracy its not great , similar to an sks.

i shot up some nork yellow box. shot good. i think the 310 diameter is better than 308 in my mini 30

thanks for the reply. the ruger mini series of rifles are not noted for there acuracy. i wonder how acurate the cz 527 in the 7.62x39 shoot this surplus ammo. NEF suposedly
is availible in this caliber as well. what i realy want to know
is how acurate this silver boxed non corosive ammo is???
