Ruger MK 1

Could somebody tell me if the MK1 has a manual chamber open lock back? I hear it's last shot closed. Is there a mag that will hold the chamber opened on empty? Anything related to the mk 1 would be appreciated. Thanks pete

My MkI does not hold the bolt back after ejecting the last round, although you can lock it back manually by using the safety...that feature began with the MkII, IIRC.

I don't know of any magazine that would change that....but then, I don't know everything Eh!....
