Ruger MK 2 Magazines ??

I just bought a nice used Ruger MK 2 pistol from EE, and it only came with 1 magazine, so I need to get some more. I was wondering are all Ruger MK I, MK II, and MK III magazines the same ? or do I have to buy a magazine for the MK II pistol that I bought ?

Also, what is the going price for new and used magazines for the Ruger MK II pistol ? And if anyone has any suggestions on a good place to buy them from, I'm all ears.

They are all different, you will have to get Mk.II mags. A Mk.I 9 round mag will work in a Mk.II, but they don't engage the mag catch properly. I have also found that 22/45 Mk.II and III mags interchange (at least they do in my Mk.III 22/45) , but are not sold as the same thing.

Best prices I have found on most Ruger stuff is from Rimfire Sports in the US. Service is great, prices reasonable and they offer free shipping to Canada on a lot of items.

I second Rimefire sports. I ordered mags for my MK III and they arrived quickly and they were reasonable with no shipping costs.
