Can someone tell what/where is the extractor pin?
Is it the structure permanently riveted into the inside of the receiver assembly?
I know what the actual extractor is; looks like a tiny hook.

It doesnt use like a traditional pivot pin like most center fire pistols. The extractor is the same as a 10/22, the rear of the extractor sits in a hole and what I would call the extractor pin pushes from the rear via a spring, and it goes over top of the extractor to retain it as well. You need a fairly strong 22gage or there abouts wire to push the plunger back enough to get the extractor out. I recently picked up a ruger mk iv tactical.... and after 200rds it was failing to eject. Robbed an aftermarket one out of my 10/22 and so far I have had 1000rds of flawless operation.... I'm still kinda pissed at ruger that it would need an aftermarket part to work pretty much out of the box...

The ejector is fixed to the frame via a rivet though
