So I know both TandemKross and Majestic Arms both make trigger kits for MKIV's that take out the creep and over travel as well as decrease the trigger pull weight. Supposedly makes it a better more accurate pistol to shoot.

It appears they are about the same price.

So my questions are:

1) has anyone got any experience with purchasing and installing these kits?
2) was there any difficulty getting it shipped to Canada?

thank you

Don't forget about Volquartsen and their Accurizing kit as another option. There's 3 Canadian distributors listed on their website.

i’ve done a little Tandemcross and a little Volquartsen, I like the Volquartsen stuff a bit more, but thats personal preference. they both have excellent products

These parts kits won’t make the pistol more accurate but help the shooter make better (more) well executed shots. I’m coaching someone with Ruger MKIV and the Volq trigger kits which came from Brownells made major difference. His scores went up noticeably especially in sustained fire.

I've got 2 Mk IV's - both have Volquartsen kits in them and have had no problems ordering from US. The first one is a stainless target that I set up for bullseye shooting, so it has a trigger kit, extended bolt release and Volquartsen rear sight which all came from Brownells. The Volquartsen adjustable rear sight is better quality than factory Ruger. Grips are Altamont wraparound wood from Tandemkross. The second one is a 4.75" standard model and I got the trigger kit from Sylvestre. The fixed sight standard model shoots to point of aim at 20 yards and appears to be just as accurate as the target model. Theres a video on Youtube that shows how to install the trigger kits - its not hard if you watch & pause the video while doing the install.
