Ruger mk1 22 magazine are not easy to find. But you can use a ruger m2 magazine. All you have to do is move
the magazine follower button from one side to the other.

I have one mag that I had to cut the groove for the conversion. A lot of the older mags only had a slot up the 'correct' side.

Drill press, files, and about fifteen minutes or so of careful work, and it works as well as any.

I used MK II mags in my MK I as they were, right out of the box.
