I love shooting my Ruger MK3 22/45 Pistol however every time I field strip it and try to reassemble it I encounter numerous problems that really test my patience!
Today I stripped it down ok and thought everything was going well.....However when I installed the mainspring housing bolt I think it may have gone in incorrectly.....When I now try to remove the assembly it only pulls out about 1cm from the frame which doesn't allow me to pull the pin down and out.
I have tried hammering the top of the bolt down however it seems completely stuck. I have tried hitting the mainspring housing to losing it from the frame however it is completely jammed.
Any ideas on how to free the bolt? Or does anyone want to buy the gun 'as is'....I don't think this gun is worth the hassle anymore!
Thanks in advance
Tim
