Need info guys...

I own a Ruger markIII target. I don't use it much since she now joins me at the club. It's OK cause I like having her around. She saw the Neo Nickel and fund the grip to be better than the Ruger because of her smallish hands.

If I sell my Ruger for that Beretta, am I doing a good thing ? How do these guns stack up to the MarkIII ?

Any comments from Beretta owners ?

Thanks !

1. One of the problems with the Beretta is finding a good smith to smooth out the trigger pull on this stiker fired design. The Ruger you can order drop-in parts and do it yourself. A much cheaper route!

2. The mag release on the Beretta is easily accidentally activated. My wife cursed it when her mag dropped out in a Bullseye match.

3. The Beretta grips is even smaller than the Ruger.

My wife has the Ruger 22/45 and a Neos, but prefers the Ruger because of the nicer trigger. I would keep the Ruger and get her some range time with the Beretta first. Let her actually shoot both before she decides which one she realy likes. Get her to score some targets with both guns and see what her scores are. The Ruger 22/45 might even be better for her.

Thanks !

The thing is that the Ruger is basicaly hers. She found the grip just a little too big. We saw the Neo in a gun shop and she liked the feel but you're right about the trigger... It's a stricker design.

I'll think about it some more I guess....
