Ruger MkII Govt Model?

I have a used Ruger MkII "Government Target Model" .22lr pistol that I am considering selling. It was bought used in 2000 and I put probably 3k rounds of Target ammo through it.

- 6 7/8" Barrel
- Some bluing worn (back of grip and near muzzle)
- Very minor scratches
- Adjustable sights, factory grips
- 1991 Vintage


any estimates on what a reasonable asking price would be ?

Pretty much all blued Ruger Mk.II's go for $300-$325 in the EE, usually with shipping included in that price. Yours looks to be in good shape, I would list it for $325 unless the long barrel is exceptionally rare or desirable or you have a pile of accessories to sell with it.

The Government is fairly rare, and one doesn't see used models for sale very often, so the value might be a bit higher than for a 5.5" model. I'd say about $300.-$350. plus shipping.
