Hi, i would like to acquire a new ruger mkIII target but i can't seem to find any magazines for it (if i want more than the 2 original)... Is there any way to get more original from ruger or a reseller here in canada? (and how much) And would you recommend a better .22 new for around 450$ (with taxs, etc)?

Thank you very much

WSS has them, about $30 ea.

And to the other question- no I don't think you can do better as these are excellent guns, high quality, accurate and not overly finicky on what you feed them. Although mine really likes the pricey CCI stingers. Go for the Ruger!

The Mark III is a great pistol!! lot of fun and dirt cheap to shoot... Spare mags are easy to find from local gun shop. Don't forget to buy an ultimate clip loader....

clip loader

i don't think i'll get a clip loader since i think loading your mag is part of the fun :D but who knows, if i shoot so much (since it's so cheap), maybe i'll get bleeding thumbs and then maybe....:)

You have to try the Ultimate Cliploader first before you say that. It can more than double your ammo use in an afternoon and is super slick. But YMMV :D

The Mk.I / II / III / 22/45 series are all great pistols that function very well and are super accurate and fun.

Local dealers will sell the mags, and Rimfire Sports in the US also has them at great prices with free shipping to Canada. Buy a target sear and hammer while you are ordering and you are set for years of great shooting.
