Ruger mkiii target upgrade sights?

What kind of sights are you after? It's a target pistol with standard target sights.....adjustable square rear notch, square front post, black on black....pretty much ideal for target shooting. The same kind of sights you would find on any target pistol basically, swapping to anything else would be a step down....

I like the sights on my stainless Mk.III Competition Target Model.

The only thing that pissed me off is the front sight was mounted almost 2 degrees tilted to the left and visible enough where I could never live with that. I re-drilled/tapped the hole on exact center of the barrel just forward enough for the threads not to meet and removed about 1/16" from the front of the front sight and blued the exposed metal.

The original front sight placement was short of the muzzle tapered area and I brought it forward just to the end of the straight barrel portion so like I say only had to remove 1/16" from the sight front.
Ruger screwed up and I fixed it because I didn't want to send my new (NEW) pistol all over hell's acre. I didn't bother to tell them.

I bought it mail order from a gun store new so I didn't get to look it over in the store. I would have noticed that right away.

No, I didn't drill too deep and it worked out perfectly for me.

Williams Firesight from William's. You can buy directly from William's without the middle man.
Agree with Hitzy. Ruger Mk 'anything' sights are as good as anything else in its class. Problem is the pistol is an entry level pistol. Really not a lot of point in spending a lot of money on it. New grips maybe, but I wouldn't bother with new sights. If you're going to spend any money do the trigger.
