Hey all,

Looking at the Ruger MKIII, Nothing fancy, Simple basic model or so.
Maybe a Ruger 22/45.

Who in Canada has the best deals do you guys think?
Reliablegun has smokin prices........Is that the best ?

Thanks!

you will love the Ruger MkIII. I put a red dot on mine, to make it a more enjoyable target plinker

the oddest looking gun (if you want to call it that), and it's a pain in the arse to clean. please dont get one, get anything but that, how about a walther? much more fun!

i just wish they made the p22 a full size gun, it is kind of tiny for the average hands.

good luck, i'm sure you will buy one, and sell it within 2 weeks.

flame on!!

I have the base model MKIII, and find it to be very fun to own. It's not hard to dis-assemble once you've done it once or twice.

Great pistol indeed. I've had two 22/45-s and two MK II-s so far (all with bull barrel). They're very reliable and fun to shoot.
Eventually, I settled down with a Browning Buck Mark Plus UDX but I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Ruger again.

The Mark III is a good plinking pistol. I bought mine from Elwood Epps (site sponsor) and the price was as good as anywhere else. That said, I did pay PST argh.

Yes, the Ruger .22's involve a learning curve for cleaning and maintenance, but once you've learned, you can disassemble and assemble the pistol quite quickly. There are plenty of videos on Youtube that explain what to do.

The Mark III is terrific. Bought mine in stainless from Elwood. There's no issue cleaning them at all...just need to take the time to understand how the mechanism works. In fact, my wife can do it. Go for it!
