Anyone try/have one of Ruger's New Bearcat 22LR revolvers with the 4.20" barrel that makes it a restricted gun over the traditional 4" prohib that it has been for years?

I'm thinking that this would be a great gun to get for my younger son to learn how to shoot handguns with.

Any pro's/con's/opinions/what is the accuracy like does anyone have one in stock yet?

I would want the stainless steel model Cat # KSBC-4 Model # 0913 Material Stainless Steel Finish Satin Stainless Weight 24.00 oz. Twist 1:16" Grooves RH 6

All Models:
Caliber: .22 LR
Capacity: 6
Front Sight: Blade
Rear Sight: Integral Notch
Grips: Rosewood
Barrel Length: 4.20"
Overall Length: 9.00"

P&D had two about a month ago and I bought them both one for me and one for my son. I like them the trigger is actually very nice on both 4 and 1/4 lbs and they shoot right on at 25 yards. The accuracy was good I have only had them out once so far but in a couple sets of 6 I had 3 touching, so I think if you do your part a group of 1.5 to 2 inches should be no problem at 25 yrds which I think is good for such a short sight radius.

I've owned two of the prohib Bearcats, and they were wonderful revolvers. :) I'm really glad to hear Ruger is turning out these > 106mm barreled guns for us!!!

I called WSS about them about a month ago and they told me no dice as of then. Would like to pick on up in stainless (I just need to quit buying all these other guns in the mean time *LOL*)
