Ruger no 1 express type rear sight

Anyone know of a source for the express type rear sight that
Ruger puts on some of their special edition no 1s

Snapshots (Ruger warranty center in Canada) has them or can order them. I enquired about it, but went ahead and put on a Skinner peep sight instead.

I recieved the ruger express sight from snapshots,it was just what I was looking for my no 1 in 303 british.I find it gives me a quick and easy sight picture for hunting purposes

I have one of those sights on a 275 Rigby.

Two observations on that sight.
- The comb is too high to comfortably use that sight.
- The sight is too high and will interfere with the objective end of a scope. I used a straight tube scope on mine.

I ve put the gun to the should and yes you have to bear down a bit more on the stock when shooting from a bench but it's meant as an off hand hunting sight not for target work. My number no 1 is mainly used as a hunting gun so for it s use the sight will be good.Also if I decide to put a scope on it I have a nice early weaver K2.5 for it.But yes I would not want to shoot it at a bench all day with the sight
