Is anyone aware of any Smith's in Canada the specialize in the Ruger No.1? My brain has been making up some twisted ideas now that seeding is for the most part done.
Here is what I'm thinking, much more svelte stocks, very light contour barrel and maybe some trigger work. Is there anyway to rid the system of he quarter rib? I only feel that's overly useful for express sights. I'd like to put a No 1 on a diet of sorts and chamber it in something more... European.
Is this trying to make a race horse out of a plow horse? Should I just accept the No 1 for what it is and find someone who has a K3 or K95 instead?
Thanks
