Anyone see that these gems are available again on Ruger's website?? I am drooling :) Can't wait for gopher season to begin. I have totally loaded out all of my 204 Ruger components..... 350 target grade rounds, and 500 precision rounds...

I did see these and have the same drool factor lol, I was wondering why they put such a long barrel on the 204 though, 26", the 308 and 30-06 only have 22", do they need that much barrel to get rid of that powder? Seems the shorter barrel would be more practical for varmint hunting.
I always look at the used gun racks to see if someone has traded one in, they are just a ###y gun, period. Glad they are making them.

Well, a 204 is not like a .22lr and does need a little more barrel length :). I have 2 of these already. 1 in blued/walnut med contour barrel and one in Lam/SS HB. Both rifles shoot quite nicely. The 204 has been unobtanium in the No.1 platform in a while, I might need to get another. Then again I sometimes find myself asking the question if I need another 204 Ruger. Sometimes.

Love my SS laminate HB. It is almost as accurate as my Tikka in a GRS stock. Only when I push the limit 800m+ does the Tikka pull away slightly in accuracy.

I hope to have time this year to chrono all my 204's using the same loading to see what is happening.
