Ruger No3 in 375 What are They Worth?

I have a friend that has a like new condition Ruger No3 in 375 Winchester, it has shot less than half a box of ammo.
Is it a collectors item, and if so what would be a ball park price?

He is thinking of selling it but won't give it away.

There are guys trying to get 800 for them .I have 3 #3s and I dont think any are worth more than $500 and that would be top end. There is quite a bit of intrest here so u might get 5 . I would give you $400. Hope this helps & good luck AJ
 
I have a 45-70 in a #3 mint with great wood listed right now. I just sold it for 750 picked up. Took me a week to sell.
 
$750 for a #3!?
at that price, all 3 of mine are for sale-I will replace them with used #1's
Although it is getting harder to find them before Bubba has his way with them.

If my memory serves me right did they not make them in only 6 cartridges

45-70, 375win, 44mag, 30-40 craig, 22 hornet and i cant remember the other one oh well.
I really like the # 3 shape and style. A freind of mine has the complete collection and i think he paid 650 as the highest price.
