Ruger Number 1 AH 45-70

Hi Everyone. I know nothing about this type of rifle and I've looked online and found prices that bounce up and down a fair amount. What is one of these critters worth in mint condition ? Sorry no pics but its mint.

It's hard to say. Between $1800 to $2200 seems to be what most of the Ruger #1's in .45-70 are listed at. I've never owned the 1 AH model though, just the S model.

It would not be an "AH," it is likely an "S" model. The "S" was made with a 22" C barrel and a 24" D barrel... I think the S-C is one of the nicest, best balanced No.1's made. The "A" model .30-30 and .303 are pretty dang nice too.
