Ruger Old Army questions

I had the chance to buy one of the first Ruger Old Army black powder revolvers brought into Canada back about 1972 I think... at Barotto Sports (I worked there from 1968 for many years) in Calgary. It was serial number 125. I just wasn't into black powder but I could see it was a solid design and well made. Crap... my memory is bad... somehow I am remembering serial #2 and my cost was $125. Wholesaled it in from Peterborough Guns... a big ex football player's company. It's scary getting old...

This is a little belated but I felt I had to add some info folks: after an extensive shooting session I felt the desire for a complete teardown and cleaning.

On reassembly I aced the bolt spring first go. But because of ham fisted realignment of grip frame screws I mashed the very delicate pawl spring.

Beware of this easy to do mistake fellow ROA owners.
And because I cleaned the barrel and cylinder frame very well followed by oil quench in retrospect I only had to clean behind the hammer and rear base pin port.
Of course cylinder and nipples complete teardown/cleaning. I believe the barrel was easier to clean because I seasoned it lightly with bore butter prior to the first shot.
I did not really need to remove the grip frame for a single shooting session. A stainless steel gun.
Parts incoming.
