Ruger Old Army

Have been toying with the idea of getting a Ruger Old Army in Stainless with adjustable sitghts, not seen any for sale for a while and was wondering what price they tend to go for these days.
Have not checked with Epps or the Wolfs den yet in the Barrie area of Ontario as to the new price.
Any feed back on these revolvers?

Wholesale Sports might have one. Nice pistol - I used to own one and was very impressed with its accuracy.

I hear that the Old Army has been discontinued. Can't understand why thou.

I've shot a few and would consider buying one. Might get a Remington reproduction instead for the more historical look.

i've still got mine- 74 issue- but i think they're not selling because people can't be bothered to fuss with all the inconvience that comes with shooting BLACK powder- the other side is that to the purists, it's just a blackbawk chambered in black powder- and there's certain diciplines where the adjustable sights are not allowed

The economy in the US is tanking out and Ruger is 20 years behind the times thanks to Ole Bill's "no honest man needs more than 10 rounds". Ruger's sales are down as well as their stock well before the depression hit here in the states in 08.
