Ruger old model blackhawk - get upgrade?

Just wondering what your thoughts are on getting the transfer bar upgrade done on a ruger old model blackhawk.

Pro's: safer

Cons: not original configuration anymore
be without gun for a while

Any thoughts?

If I have a 3 screws old model Blackhawk - I prefer to leave it untouch since the chance of carry it around loaded is zero.

They will send the old parts back so you can reinstall them if someone really wants it that way.
But then you can do what is done with colts, carry it with the mammer down on an empty chamber.
