Thinking of getting back into handguns but as with many money is always an issue. I noticed Ruger has SRS SERIES SR9 9mm at WSS at a reasonable price.

I used to have an older CZ75 in 9mm and was happy with it. How does this ruger rate next to that gun in terms of accuracy and reliability.

Note: I just like plinking but like to hit what I am aiming at. The CZ was spot on but other handguns I've used left something to be desired. Patterned like a 12 guage
 
IF you saw that SR9 on WSS website, it will likely be backordered for 8-12 months. Its a hard gun to come across right now.

As for shooting, great gun! Love mine. Also have me GP100 to keep it company...:D
 
X2 on the hard to find, i got real lucky today and grabbed the last one at proline in calgary. Love those guys, they even price matched wss price, even though they were out of stock.
 
Ruger's SR9 is on backorder for a reason:

They sell like icicles in Hades!!!!!

It's a great gun, accurate, reliable, and ridiculously easy to maintain.

It's only real "issue" is a somewhat gritty trigger, but that is fixed by shooting about 500 rounds through the pistol. There is a fix available if you aren't that patient, but since it involves playing with the trigger mechanism, I didn't bother. Triggers are one area I won't fool around with on firearms.
